Having a cutting garden is a luxury! I have about 200 roses in my cutting garden and often cut large bouquets of my favorite roses. I love to have their scent fill my house. Here is a bouquet of one of my favorite Austin Roses; Heritage. They only last about 3 days in a vase, before the petals start dropping - but I enjoy every minute of them.

They are just gorgeous!
Heritage is a really beautiful Rose. How lucky you are to be able to cut armfuls! I am deeply envious now! ::sulk::
I cant wait til I get an allotment and can grow roses and other flowers on it for cutting. 4 years down, I wonder how many more to go ?

Those may be my favorites.
You deliver a great flower story.
Stories about flowers and roses are
some of my favorites.
Thanks,
Jimmy

Exquisite.
I grow 9 Heritage Roses - So I can always cut some, since it seems to always be in bloom. And yes I really like my cutting garden. Rows of roses, annuals and perennials I do not like to grow in my ornamental garden but like for cutting.
Phillip I will be glad to help you choose some of the best roses for you, among the different classes of roses - The best roses for your climate zone, disease pressure and type of roses.
I hope you sell some bouquets Jim!
I really want to take that flowering arranging class this fall! Remember my post Flowerarranging for men?
I saw this one at the Botanical Garden. They are so beautiful and smelled wonderful. You are so lucky to be able to cut large bouquets like that!
Those roses could never be duplicated on canvas. Only nature can work that magic. The bouquet is truly stunning.
I even love them when the petals start to fall!
My daughter would like to use Heritage roses in her bridal bouquet, will the roses last the day? Thank you for replying.

That bokay is stunning. I may have to add Heritage to my "must have" list. Would be a nice companion to my other 110+ roses. :)
